Better height, hang time, lower bar pressure, and it's just so easy to fly.
ever tried the Dyno 18 from 2011 ?

Bar pressure is something good. Too light is not good.

Anyway, need to try to see myself!

Dimitri: releasing is safe, and that should be trained for, not just letting go of the bar.
And the microloop is for experienced riders, not everyone.
A stopper will NEVER be as good as a microloop.
I do tricks you will NEVER land with a stopper.

Consider it as an extra add on to the bar. I am sure you will make some people happy.

Very nice EPIC bar Mr.Caesar, but again not need for this hook. It's too dangerous in case something happens and need to push the bar a way from you as fast as possible. This is the reason why I spent so much time on our new EPIC STOPPER BALL coming out soon with our new CL and BAR.
Hi Dimitri,

I was sure you would like it.
If I don't use the hook, I just turn it 180° to the other side and there is no option that it hooks in by mistake. You just need to keep an eye on it from time to time.

Looking forward to the new bar/CL. It is overdue since many months (I know you want to get it right this time...).

Cheers

Yeh I was thinking the same thing. Toby when do you hook into this micro loop obviously in the air or just before you jump? Suppose the video will show all!

Reminds me of the fixed loop, although larger,. That used to come with the old bars. Used to use them for light winds, powered up like a Luny on the old c kites which has stuff all depower anyhow!!!

I never designed our previous CL. I just borrowed it from another kite company while my friend Momi and I have been working on our own EPIC COOK PROOF chicken loop.

When I pull down the bar for liftoff I hook it in.

It is just like a fixed loop, but smaller, faster in and out and releaseable when engaged with the iron heart.
Plus you can rotate the hook, to avoid unwanted hook in at launch and landing of the kite.

I have been flying the 2013 13 and 15 meter edges and I really like how much faster they turn than the older edges. The glide on my 15 meter is better than my 16 meter firefly speed wing. It's like a hang glider! Here is a video of pascal on my 15 edge 2013 the wind was about 20 mph at bottom of hill and close to 30 mph at the top. He only weighs 126 pounds! Lucky guy!

Impressive !!

waynepjh --- how much do You weigh , and how much wind do Ya think
you could hold that 15M of yours in , while on a kite board in the water ?

I 'm trying to get a sense of comparison ageist my 2010 13M Edge ; it
starts getting difficult to hold down in about 30mph, and i weigh 200Lb.

Hey Tone,
Im curious as to your claims that the 10m "rips you off the water" !! Ive tested the 2013 7m edge for a high wind big jump/loop kite and it is slow across the window, which translated to the kite sitting back in the window a bit with a medium pull into the air... resulting in more of a glide style jump... very predictable though by no means aggressive - comparitive too many kites on the market..
Its at its best in park mode obviously as its designed for.
The test session was done on butter flat water, removing the takeoff ramps - giving true feed back on the kites actual lift ability ...
Interesting that I also tested back to back with an allrounder that jumped higher... the 7m edge doesnt tick all the boxes if you have an aggresive style !
So yes im very interested to know what canopy profile strut changes have been made to the 10m make it turn so fast ????

Yes I would concur with that. Its not a 'rip you off the water' type of kite. I to have flown kites that do that in a more obvious way. But there is technique involved and it takes some time to dial it in. Once you do especially on the 9m and 7m, you still produce an incredible vertical dimension. The thing I like is the hang time and the confidence that even on an immense jump you can be confident that you will land soft as butter..that I haven't experienced to this degree on another kite. This vertical dimension becomes harder to dial in from the 11m up.
