Soma bay in July - Tides and wind?

Postby slim » Thu Feb 14, 2013 12:00 am

Yo wondering if anyone can help me. Just wondering if tides make a big difference on the kite spot at BFT7 and whats the best tide to have?! Should we expect the place to be packed in july? Also what sort of wind strength does it get up to in that month?

Anyone have opinions on the place?
cheers!

tide does not really matter. Only, if you need a shallow area...

July should be more packed...worldwide holidays ;-)

Expect no wind to 40 knots. All is possible. Bring all!

the area has maybe 50m downwind and width about 200m.
Left part is for instructions.
Waist deep where the shallow area ends, before that slowly getting deep from shore...pretty shallow close to it.

Winter has more water, summer less. So summer low tide is dry in the shallow area.
