Are there any good kite spots on the island of Dominica?

Thanks!

I've been there 4 times and nobody new about it.
I couldn't find any place either because I stayed at Portsmouth 45 min drive from Roseau Airport.
The wind was off shore all the time there with sudden deep waters and strong currents.
But last year when I was there it was side off, so some students were trying to launch a Naish kite,
near Ross University on the left where the black color beach was wider a little.
They couldn't launch it because the wind was light and variable.
I saw some remote not populated rocky beaches at the N.E. side of the island,
where the wind was strong and on shore but I wouldn't want to launch there.
Good luck there, it is a diver's paradise :thumb:

Yeah, what he said ^^.

I was also in Portsmouth but on a boat. Took a tour around the North side of the island.

There were 1 or 2 spots that could maybe work but I don't think I'd be willing to stretch it. The windward side of the island is pretty rocky and sketchy.

Amazing island though with so much to see.
