This link works in the address bar, why not in the “Uplaod Extern” area of kiteforum.tv ?

Your link is in the new short link format.

Like embeding Youtube videos in the forum I suspect that the link has to be in the old long link format like this for kiteforumtv too...

exactly, this is how the link needs to look like:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fG-gR1xhP5g

and not anything else.

the example on the upload form also shows the format you need to use.

Also no "s" at http, and always the www
