I just injured my ribs on a kiteloop this past monday. Nothing like Marty though, I should be okay in a couple of weeks more.
I was using a harness that was too big, and it hurt me. I guess gear must be the correct size, otherwise you run the risk of injury.
No way I'm stopping my kitelooping, its the most fun. Just not boosting so hard for'em, you know?

yeah, the harness inquestion was an XL, which i fit into pretty well last year. Lost some weight and now its too big.Dr Cool wrote:

at 0'27 I advise that the harness should be tight as ass
and that harness should be dripping wet before putting it on
(and have someone to hold your kite whilst you're tightening it if loose)
how many sore/broken ribs would that avoid
one more thing: belts are cool but a seat prevent this perfectly
when I have sore ribs i use an old seat harness and it does the job
