Dear All,
we have in Bahia constant wind everyday around 7 to 10 knots and 1/2 meter waves.
I have a Cabrinha Switchblade 12m and I weight around 75 kg.
I wish to buy a sector, but I am in doubt which is the best size: 54 / 60 / 66
The dilemma is: I want to be able to at least catch waves, but dont need to "finish" them, that is: I can drift , but no real carving (or at least, the maximum possible).
First question: would the 54 suits the wind conditions ?
second question: would the 66 be too large for wave riding ?
third question: no 60 is on stock, when will it come ? has anyone the used to sell ?
Thanks! Cheers, Paulo

Hi Paulo,
I ride Airush Sectors as my main LW/Med wind boards. I'm 92Kg and ride the 54 V3. Last season I rode the 52 V2. In previous years I have rode the 60 Sector V1-V2. I would say at your weight, the 66 would not be the best choice. It is a very wide board but super quick to plane for a bigger guy. The 60-54 would be what you need to decide between. I went to the smaller version for more manoeuvrability, better jumping and just way more fun! The V3 is much quicker rail to rail than the V2. The Tri fin set up is not as good upwind as the quad but the V3 is faster.
Here is a little clip of me riding the 54 V2 in 9-13 Knots with a 2013 SS Rally 14m. My buddy I'm catching in the one scene is on a V3 66 with a SS RPM 12m. He is about your weight.
If you are ever thinking about a bigger kite, I have ridden the 52 V2 on a 17m SS Turbine and it was like stealing wind at -8-10 knots.

We have Sector 60's in stock but the shipping might be cost prohibitive. Have a look and if you have any other questions, please ask.

Dear Dave,
thank you for the reply.
Therefore, do you think that the 54 could solve my need, to be ridden with a 12m kite at 8 -10 knots ?
Cheers
