I'll make the same suggestion as before, and the price has dropped another $50...

Another more versatile option would be to get the smallest Shinn ToyBoy. I'm sure kids will have trouble with the pads though, but you can't get the grom kit anymore anyways). Of course you have to be okay with your son riding a board covered in flowers too.
But for $365 you get a great deal:

126x38 is actually smaller than the kids influence (shorter and thinner) and Shinn make great boards.

As suggested, build it. There is nothing that can beat a custom board one and only on teh Planet.
Get a thin plywood 4mm, fiberglass cloth, and 6 SS inserts. That is all. You might slap some nice colored cotton cloth on top and bottom for his/her liking...I can build this in two days with a hand layup.
I am riding 120/39, Toby is riding 128 and he is way heavier than your kid...

Yes, 126 seems way big for a kid.

Hi, anybody can recommend where i can buy/have a kid-sized board made in NorCal?
I'm looking for something inexpensive for my 8 year old. second hand and/or home-made is absolutely fine.
thanks!
