Of course I can fix it with local shoemaker, but damn, its new 200$ product I was expecting to kite all my life and then resell for a good price.

Update. Just a few words about Slingshot support — IT'S GREAT. We have found solution for my problem, so I'm more than happy.

Before I've talked to few other brands, and Slingshot support outperforms them with speed of reaction, attitude to you and ability to solve your problems. Even if gear sucks sometimes, support is not. This is the way to turn angry customers into loyal brand evangelists. :thumb:

From your picture that looks way older than just five times used . I find slingshot customer service to be really good and I am sure that if in fact they are new and have only been used 5 times SS will take care of it.

fourperf, FedEx delivered them on 19th Feb. Had 5 or even less sessions since.
I'm waiting for SS reply.

That should not be after only 5 sessions. My experience with SS customer device has been nothing but positive. Hopefully you will get it sorted.

How do you find those things? I think they look silly, what's the advantage in using them? Do you come out of footstraps easily and not like the locked in feeling of boots?

Just wondering as I have never seen anybody use those.

Like a shoe, it has to fit.
So try it first or huck your money at the internet and hope for the best. :duh:

Sometimes you have no option to try. And your old pads had broke just. And you want to kite. And you order something that sounds like a good idea.

You seem to have serious equipment issues. Trailing edge failure, broken pads and now your SS joint has failed after only 5 sessions. Before you start bitching on here, maybe you should first contact the manufacturer and see what they will do for you?

bigwave, LF pads broke after 1 year of hard abuse, no worries about that. I've already sent photos of Joint to SS, will see.
