Hi! I have a 11.5 kahoona with a 58cm bar.
thinking in buying a 7.5 kahoona. Will it work fine with the 58cm bar?
I am a beginner and i am a bit worried that kite could be over-reactive with such big bar.
many thanks!

a smaller bar would be better but it would certainly work.

It'll be VERY fast to turn, but as Laughingman says, it'll work. I'll assume you are in a windy place if you are considering a 7.5m kite
As a beginner, be careful, if you give it steering input as if it was your bigger kite, it'll slam onto the water/beach/whatever before you even know what happened. Practice in light wind to get a feel for it.
I once went from a relatively slow moving 14m kite to a quick 10m (with the correct 42 cm bar) and slammed it tomahawk style on my first attempt. My muscle memory was with the 14m kite. Lucky I didn't destroy the kite.
Hold the bar close to the center, you'll tend to give the kite less steering input as you bump through chop and can't help move the bar some.

It'll work fine, I fly my 6m Torch on a big bar, you get used to it not that much difference really.....I just prefer the bigger bar

I had the 11.5m and 7.5m Kahoonas and flew them both on the big bar with no issues. I liked it better with the big bar. The Kahoona is a very forgiving kite, so I don't think you will have any issues.
