As in, in replacement of a board.
Bit of Monday work fun.
I have ridden a full length scaffolding board - about 12ft in length. Went up wind really quite well and an actual Door.
I saw someone on Facebook trying to ride a sheet of ice, not sure how that went...

Think I once saw a winter video of someone riding a chunk of ice as a board

kiting a broken piece of ice shelf is not that unusual I do that in the winter if conditions are right
more unusual is kiting a boat when the power died back to the marina, saw doug and sean do that last year

Awhile ago Kevin Langree surfed on a suitcase bought on the local market. Looked like good fun until the suitcase sank, lol

my torso!.
Lost my board in big swell. Was about to get mothered by a wave so i started body dragging to the beach. then i caught the wave so i was body kitesurfing... then the aparent wind kicked in and i was plaining on my torso..
I outrun the wave and blasted back to shore no slower than if I was on a board!
Crazy.

A 3' square peice of ply driftwood that happened to be at the edge of the water once. Just like a skimboard without any shape.
