I have just seen on the webpage that there is another 4-line Bar: ATB Universal Control System.
Does this bar also fit to the Park? What are the differences in terms of depower and handling?

I don´t like the below the bar trim mechanism, but Naish told me last year that it was necessary to allow the full depower range for waveriding if you fully sheet out...

What do you think about the ATB bar vs. normal Universal Bar?

Thanks, Joerg

I've seen the bar too, it looks like the bar we've been waiting for!
An easy trim system above the bar & PU coated depowerlines to reduce the wear and tear.
When I'm going for a new Park I definitly want that bar! :thumb:

Just had the 6m out in waves this past weekend. The kite rocks!

I have not been this happy with new gear in many, many years.

Can someone help?
I am planning to buy 2014 Parks but I have no chance to test them :(
What 2 size kite quiver would you suggest for 64kg (143lbs) , mostly riding from 13-30+ knots , TT board 130x40 :)

Thanks

I weight 69 Kg and I have 2013 parks. My quiver is 15m FLy 12m, 10m and 7m. I only use 10m and 7m the big kites are too slow for me. I use two boards 132x41 and 137x48 and I can ride from 13 knots to 30 knots

Thanks,
I should also get one big board and that would cover me.
Right now i have 12m and 8m Torch 2008, but i guess wind range is improved on Parks and I can go with 10m and 6m or 7m.

hmm, well the problem with covering a wide wind range with two kites is if most of the time you really should be on something in the middle. So what I would do is first look at he one kite you really need to have. I call this the 90% kite...unless the wind eally is very variable at your spot. At the wind range it might just be a 9 if you ride most of the time in 15-25 knots..I've ridden the 8 and its a great kite and definitely has good range...you'd be more powered on 8 park than an 8 torch for sure. Coming from the torch I think you will like how that kite loops compared to other bridled kites :-)

At 13 knots I think a 10 might be light on a TT...but I weight a lot more than you so it is hard to say for me. How about the 11? 11 - 8 combo? You might find it a bit too powered in 30+ knots...

Dragging this one up to ask about 2014 quiver for a 78kg guy (plus cold weather gear): Currently ride a Park '12 11m & 8m, just added a '14 6m. Could I move to 9 & 12 meter Park '14s or would it be more advisable to - in time - exchange 8 & 11?

I do not know the windrange for the cloud 6 (do you have an idea?),
What is your windrange for the Parks that you are trying to cover?
