Nash Torch or Draft???

Trying to decide between these two kites. Would Langere or Richman have chosen the draft at the Red Bull king of the air if it was available? Or is the Torch just a better jumper?

Isn't the draft their new race/freeride kite?

Did you see anyone else on race kites at that competition?

Is there a big difference between 2013 and 2012? I heard the 2011 was less stable but possibly the highest jumper. Can anyone compare the 3 years?

Thank you

Hi everyone! I don't know how the 2013 is, but the 2011 is a great kite. It is good for freestyle and simple sent jumps.
I have 12m (I'm 67kg) and I'm going to buy 2013 Torch.
Low end of 2013 is better, you can start kiting 2 knots earlier (I start on my 12m 2011 in about 13-14 knots)

It depends on what you are looking for in the jump. Hang time is Draft for sure. Nuclear vertical pull Torch. The kites probably goes equally high, but with different techniques. I think you need a bit more skill to work the torch properly.

Torch will also be the kites of choice for looping. It has a nutty strong horizontal pull while looping. The draft is doing more helicopter looping above.
The pro's have that skill easily. For us mortals...well it depends on your ambition level I guess.

The pro's will choose the torch. I have a torch, but I will have more than one Draft. :-)
