i think the only way to get rid of fogging is to create a vacuum once you put it in the case,....thats for gopro to figure out though

Seriously! Why not a simple one way rubber port on the case and a pump like one of those wine bottle ones?

I have not done exhaustive testing but my GoPro has not fogged the last few times I used it, both paragliding and diving.

I simply closed the case at night when it was cool. That is the air temperature was the same as the ambient temperature would be when flying or in the water.

Fogging is simple physics. When you have a cool surface that is lower than the dew point of the water vapour inside the casing then you get condensation.

There are only two ways to stop fogging. Keep the glass warm so you don't get condensation. Or lower the content of free water vapour inside the case. You do that by trapping the water vapour in absorbent material, or reduce the amount of water vapour in there by closing the case in a cool dry atomosphere.

Back in November when GP3 just came we've got our sample just in time for our trip to Cuba. Now, November/December aren't the most humid or the hottest months in Cuba and we haven't really done anything to prevent fogging, so we obviously did have some fogging issues to the extent of some images/videos being totally useless.

That being said, although I really liked the camera and what it's capable of, my conclusion was that it's better suited for other activities than kiting or surfing. If I had to buy another camera Today I'd go for the Contour or the Drift instead.
