Good post Taut :thumb:

I often come and go from this forum, as there always seems to be a negitive vibe. which if you respond too you can not help but get dragged in.

I tried on one thread to keep things civil, but you are simply ignored by those that enjoy upsetting others.

Even on this thread, some one has tried to wind another up. Childish and unfortunate but it seems to be the state of play.

Happy surfing chaps

Respect on and offline, this really should not be difficult. Unfortunately there are those who take the anonymity of posting to online forums as a license to be rude and hateful. Quite sad really.

The internet offers a deep insight into many souls. Hiding behind the curtain of anonymity you can throw flames without taking responsibility. People who don't get the attention they wish for in real life will get negative attention here - which is ... (drumroll) ... attention. A forum like this one is just an unfiltered sandbox where these people can throw sand. Call 'em out and meet them in real life and you'll be surprise what a pale and stale of a person this little bugger is.
These people just have personality issues and this forum is a bullhorn for their pouting. my advice to you; don't engage. The less you engage the more they'll get off ...

YEA -- Ya might be correct on that !

Amped-up or Angry ; give me a choice i'll go for the Amped !
I Can't hide behind that curtain of anonymity like most here, so i try to control the
rage. Sometimes it comes out just anyway ; best i can do is try.

Angry proves Nothing & i Still need a that adrenaline stuff.
It makes the Heart pump, & the hairs on the arms stand up , get all Shaken inside.
Without it i get all Angry instead. It's a circle !

On this forum, i think most are adrenaline Junkies, & we all Need our fix.
A High percentage of us need More than the next. It's addicting, a way of proving
our Self-Worth ; it drives ya even Harder just dwelling on it !!

There's a pressure release valve in All of us ; some set it a bit higher than other.
Ever since the legs ran away the valve has bin kinda Stuck. (sorry) !!

Anyway --- I'm going to bed tonight dwelling on that sh*t --taut-- just suggested.
Hopefully I'LL wake-up tomorrow, a bit Better for it !

It works best if people attack the argument and not the person.

That is one of the smartest things ever said on the kiteforum. I am sometimes guilty of not following this rule but for the most part provided I am not being attacked personally I do try to debate the debate and not the person. But if I am attacked on a personal level, well, all bets are off, but even then it is wise not to react to severely as you end up lowering yourself to a level you may not be comfortable with. Retracting or apologizing for something you have said is a lot harder then what some others do by simply deleting their posts. Those people are cowards... Even if they do love dogs...

There have been some fairly appauling posts recently on here ranging from total and utter lying to threatening other forum members with violence that have crossed the line in my opinion. I also received a peronal message from someone who was intimidated out of posting about a certain brand due to some business connections of his employer. The view I always take is that at the end of the day what you reap is what you sow.

And because you refrained from actually naming this well known poster, your comment is not a personal attack ?
