Lift is similar. Dice is more reactive than Evo, and Evo is easier to jump high.

You should demo the dice if you have no experience with open C kites. It is something else than the Evo. You need good technique to jump with the dice in the low and middle wind range. I had a couple good sessions on 8 and 9m dice and they rip you out of the water which feels incredible when it is windy. Landing big jumps, for me that is 8m and more, I had to fly the kite better for landing and do a landing loop.
I learned little loops with my 9m dice and if you jump with good line tension then the loop is very quick but if you pull early or somehow do a wider loop expect a good yank.
Problem for me is the wind range and how often I get on the water. I still have my 8m dice but probably gonna sell that one too. Everything is just harder with that kite and since I can't get on the water a lot it is just not making sense for me. If you are keen and have a spot nearby with good wind I'd go for the dice. I was 78kg on my last trip and would not even pump up the 8m unless it is 30 knots, 9m 25 knots it came alive.

Aloha brah! Your post was very useful to me to understand whats happening with the dice. I just need a kite with huge wind range, smooth kiteloops and soft landings thats why I am picking the 8m as an option. I think I will go for the EVO ..thanks!

I confirm Dice is a very good kite but its low end is not so good. It becomes interesting in its medium and high wind range or if you are a lightweight rider.
