Big kites on 15m lines look BIG. They are so much closer to you, but faster of course, so shorter lines on bigger (slower) kites make a lot of sense.
First time I tried them on Ren 13 it was a distraction- it looked like an 18m. But it was great in surf in lighter wind.

SURF 8 & 12 for the waves. RENEGADE 6.5 and 9 for all around kiting. And some times I use my son's JUNIOR PRO 4 when it blows 45+ for the waves.
Just try the EPICKITES and you will see for yourself.

I have tried the REO kite and it's a very nice kite, but I want something even better for the waves and this is the reason why we coming up with the SURF kite. Have you tried the RENEGADE kites for the waves? Because that is a great kite for the waves also. But I want something even better just for waves.
REO 8m 2013 was the worst kite ever.Very poor quality of built...very low power deliver and the worst was the bar...How the hell you suppose to untwist the lines with that leash line passing through the bar without swivel ???
and the drifting wasnt even close to the surf..and i was always underpowered with 25 knots!!!!

Time for you guys to test the
SURF kite and see what this kite is all about.
P.S. If you are a true surfer you will understand the difference.

Just got back from a trip to Cabo Verde Sal..I rode some real big waves always with side off shore winds.I started with the 11m Renegade 4G but very soon i realize that i don't need so big kite cause the wave was super fast and i was kicked out from the puling of the kite...So i pumped the 8m Surf and with its super low end and the amazing drift that it has i managed to have EPIC sessions catching waves that i have never see before.
I have to noticed that i got a really big wipe out the kite not only survived the brutal beating but it relaunched super fast saving me from a wash out to the rocks..
