Short bridles
Flag on one front line
That's a great idea Mr.jmopd about the short bridles. Ok will have to check and see if we can go shorter then what we have now on the next prototypes. Momi did you get this? Let's make another prototype but this time let's make the bridles as shorter as possible so they don't get tangle with the kite once they get eaten by the waves.
Concerning "Flag on the one front line" we have this on our new 4G XTEND BAR that will be coming out in June.
Once again Mr.jmopd thank you for your time.

Here's one for MoMi,

What's with the angular strut, it just looks cheap and aeronautically incorrect?

I had second Gen Eclipse kites and in gusts they would get pushed backwards and then dart forwards and then luff.

Having one joint creates a bending point compared to a nice curve ( like most kite companies have), why does your designs have one joint/bend on your struts?

The only kite that I have ever owned that inverted in mid air (during flight, not from a crash, or during relaunch or anything like that)...had "a nice curve."
I have owned lots of kites that had "angular joints" as opposed to "a nice curve."
None of my kites listed below, ever inverted when sheeted out or had wingtips that folded under load, I've had whole quivers of some of these kites.
North Rebel (very angular kite), Blade Prime (MoMi strut), Blade Trigger (MoMi strut), Wainman Rabbit, Epic Screamer (MoMi strut), Epic Renegade (MoMi strut), Slingshot T2, Slingshot Machine, Slingshot Octane, Flexifoil Strike, Eclipse Thruster, Liquid Force Havoc, Ocean Rodeo Razor, Ocean Rodeo Rise.

You should sponsor a strapless guy to test these prototypes with you. I mean a guy who really kills it strapless, huge airs, huge down the line tricks, slashes ect. Some one that could really give some solid input on the prototype and its performance. I think you should do a 11m instead of a 12 also.

I am talking about the strut not the arc of the kite.

Most struts are segmented to make up the profile of the wing, the part that creates lift excepts for MoMi's design which is one joint. He may be onto something or it maybe just a cost cutting design, I do not know but stands out like dog balls compared to other kite designs.

Richard, are you talking about this on the STRUTS? If so that is because our kites are on VIAGRA in order to out perform all the other kites.

I am aware exactly what part you are referring to...I have had full quivers of MoMi designed kites (four different models from two different companies) and they are among the best performing kites I've ever flown.
On the other hand, the kite design that you allude to, did not perform well, when I owned it.
There are several ways to do struts. North has a floating center strut idea, nothing like the curve you speak of, and we all know the Rebel is the most popular kite on the planet.
You can take shots at MoMi's designs if it makes you happy, but the truth is, his kites fly very well.
There is a lot of detail to kite design, and it is silly to try to pick apart something that you think might be a problem, where there is no problem.
The kite that you are endorsing inverted in mid air three times for me, my second session on it.
The luff curve was way too shallow, the bridle configuration was not nearly right, the kite had waaaaay too much bar pressure, it turned kinda slow, it stalled often and the tubes were too small which made them not rigid, and the outside struts were connected at a bad angle or wrong, so the wingtips folded when jumping.
I was told that I was the problem, not the kite design, end of discussion.
I don't really care what a designer comes up with, I care about how their kites perform.
MoMi kites fly great and do exactly what the company owners asked him for.
If you have an issue with Epic and don't want to put that strut to the test, then test a Blade Prime and a Blade Trigger and then try to say MoMi is making mistakes.
The real question is, why waste your time asking about a kite you obviously have no intention of flying, (I have no problem with dogs balls) ..clearly your mind is made up already.
If you like a constant curve kite, keep buying and flying them, the price is certainly right.
As has been pointed out, there is a whole forum dedicated to that design, have at it.
