Dimitri, you have got another 2 months. Come over here and we hit some islands to the east of Bali for some real down the line side -to side-off shore wave riding!

Ok Westozzy your wish is my command. I was able to put together a video of one of the prototype 8m SURF kite. Sorry about the quality but we had only an IPHONE with us. Plus I did not know it was going to be so windy so I did not have the SURF 5 with me only the 8m & 12m. I was way over powered on the kite since it was blowing 16 to 32++ mph and I did not want to use the RENEGADE 6.5 so I can test the performance of the SURF 8 in these conditions. The only way to be able to hold the SURF 8 and wave ride was to set it up on the lower knot in order to have it depowered all the time. Not great but it worked and I was able to test its performance.

I have to say, I like the way you set up the close out for air.

Bring one to PR soon, will definitely want to try!

Yes you are right Westozzy. I get a better balance when I unhook, and I can surf the wave way better unhook because I am not constrain to the kite and you get a feel for freedom.
Will post some pictures with some unhook surfing but I usually unhook when the waves are way bigger then that day.
