Is the Slingshot Z kite any good?

What are these kites like or what do they compare too? Jeff Howard has some good deals right now and I'm thinking about picking one up.

my friend rode it
he was pretty stocked about Z
told me it is more freeridable kite then Rally (Rally is more a wave kite in his opinion) with a huge hangtime

Though I haven't flown the Z, I have flown and still have it's predecessor the "Key" in my quiver. The delta hybrid shape is very easy to water re-launch, very stable, very good up wind capable, pretty good hang time, but a bit slow turning. I mostly fly my Rallys now but still have and use the Keys. The internet pricing on the Z is very good, I'd say if you are looking for an entry level kite the Z is a good and economical choice.
It should be noted though, that there are as many opinions on kites as there are kites...lots!
