I am looking for last minute trip suggestions for the memorial day weekend here in the U.S. I will be traveling solo and looking for a location with the following criteria:
Direct flight from NYC - sub 4 hours
Warm / Windy
Good kite community as I will be traveling alone
Any suggestions would be great.

Cabarete, DR.. Short flight to NYC-POP & 20 min ride from the airport. You can leave NYC in the morning and catch the afternoon thermals in Cabarete. Cheap and great nightlife.
