Slingshot T-Rex Wakesurfer

Postby davesails7 » Sun Feb 23, 2014 2:25 pm

Anyone tried the Wakesurfer version of the Slingshot T-Rex?

I really like my wakesurfer version of the Space Pickle (for half the price of the kite version) and just saw they have a wake version of the T-Rex http://www.slingshotsports.com/wake/products/wakesurfers/2014-t-rex-sku-14239

Unlike with the SP though, it looks like it is a completely different shape than the kite version. Wider and a squared off tail.

PING!

I have the same question.

Curious if anyone has kited with this board and how it compares to the space pickle wakesurfer, size for size.

Thanks! :thumb:

While I too love my SP wakesurfer I think that the T-Rex wouldn't last long in wake construction.

When I ride my SP it's always mellow but with the T-Rex you'll end up doing airs on it and snapping it.
