I find it hard to choose. I want a board that has easy to access pop and that is soft on landings and forgiving in chop. It's hard to understand the difference betwen these two boards just by looking at Nobiles web page. Some say the 50fifty pop is amazing but you have to "work harder" for it?

Can't compare the two, but the NHP is one awefully superb board. Ticks all your boxes...

The Nobile 50Fifty is for riders which prefer a wider stance and ride with a lot of power. The NHP needs less pull of the kite to perform well and feels more agile. Both boards are very good and depending on the conditions may have some small advantage. It is good to have both boards.
I you want to go only with one board there is an even better alternative which unifies the performance and versatility of both boards and which is more comfortable. The Supershinn is an evolution model of the Nobile boards. The Supershinn offers both stance options of the NHP and 50Fifty. Since I'm using the Supershinn I didn't found any other board which could compete with it every kind of conditions.

Hey,
50/50 has wider stance, I'd say by maybe 2 inches, one can definitely feel the difference. 50/50s are also longer and narrower. Flex feels very similar, both boards are extremely smooth.
NHP would be a better choice for all around, amazing board, does everything well.
Not sure about Shinn being evolution to Nobile, if I'm not mistaken, Shinn boards are made by Nobile in the same factory. I'm sure they keep their finger on things
Go for NHP, many guys say 2013 NHP is the best yet.

I moved from underground 138x42 2010 to 134x42 NHP 2012.. I love it. I loved the other board also, but the NHP is faster, and jumps higher. Landings were softer with my underground, but everything else is better for me. Since i am not riding boots, the underground was alittle to long for me. Boots that would have been perfect size. 138x42. Anyways got the purple NHP and the thing is Sharp man.
I want to hang it on the wall in the kitchen but my girlfriend wont let me. haha
A friend of mine has been riding a Nobile board for at least 5 years. Maybe more. Buys a new board and goes back to the old one. Nobile is a board that stands the test of time. Another friend had two of them. They are dope boards and worth the extra $

I know this may sound like a stupid question guys, but could someone explain the benefits of a long and narrow board like 50fifty, compared to a shorter and wider board like NHP? What does long/narrow vs. shorter/wider give you? Thanks for all the input, really helpfull!
