Hi,
I just purchased a 2013 Fuse with the 2013 Quad bar and also purchased the optional micro loop/hook set. I was told by the dealer that North told them it would be easy to drill the 2 holes into the bar. Looking at the center plastic insert, I don't see how this can be done.
Have you done it and if so, could you please post a photo?
Thank you.
Cheers
Caesar

Bummer!!! You are correct. The holes are completely different.
Let's see what North says. I asked them beforehand and they said it all works.
The swivel doesn't work after one session either. Anyone else having problems with the new swivel too?
Yesterday was my first and only session. When I came back I rinsed the bar as usually under the outside shower first and then dipped it into the pool to remove the micro crystals in the lines.
What could be wrong here?
I was so happy with the performance but these 2 issues spoil it.

The hook is a molded piece that installs in the north swivel, and the ba has two holes for the mini loop. Made by north, for north bars, which will fly ozone kites.
Bummer your swivel is sticking Caesar, try pulling the centerline through the swivel for a couple inches back and forth in case it is caught, if that doesn't work perhaps if you take apart the swivel, (instructions are in the manual) there may something in there? I have never had one stick but have taken apart a bunch. Good luck.

I have a mini loop that attaches to the bar with two Velcro straps on each side of the center line, Then it locks on the regular Spreader hook. windsurfing style, but smaller.
Will try and post a picture.

Almost any bar can be used with a North Iron Heart.
Then you need to drill two holes into the bar.
Not sure about stability though.
Using a ML windsurfing style is dangerous, since you cannot activate the chickenloop QR.
North bar can. Get a used bar up to 2012 and buy the ML upgrade kit.
