SS Rev twisted bladder

Postby rtz » Thu Feb 22, 2018 2:07 am

06-08 model kite.

Had to reglue the valves. Had the entire leading edge bladder out. Have had it back in numerous times.

Problem is when the kite is pumped up; the bladder starts to rotate and sucks in the valves second to last on the outboard.

What is the technique to get it to not roll?

Use tape to attach a piece of cardboard to the bladder tip before pulling it in. It will prevent bladder twists.

Cheers for that tip, have talcum powdered my bladders to sh#t without preventing twists.

Made a little cardboard sled and it worked perfect first try. Thanks for the tip!
