69kg with big feet. Small feet would not reach edge as well, but might tire less pulling up toes.
Agree with Mike / speed is both apparent wind and power for tricks. Deep delta kites never worked for me.

Heavyweights don't see this too much anyway, as their general riding power tends to push even fat kites further forward. That said this is now leading into the subject of rider weight vs kite style, which I think is one of the most under discussed and important aspects of modern kiting, but that is a whole other can of worms.
So true Mike.

Interested in getting a new TT to complement my strapless surfboard when doing flatwater sessions, or need smaller board with 17m kite when wind picks up. Usually no waves in those conditions. Have a OR Mako 150 x 34 classic for ages but not ridden it in 3 years.
80kgs, experienced kiter.
W16 speedball looks interesting. Right size?
Alternative is new OR mako 140. But looking to freshen things up. Thoughts?
Hooked in tricks, kiteloops, big air stuff is what I do on TT.

Speedball for flat water? What's the point? You want squarer tips. That goes for the mako to.
Got a laluz 2013 for flat water, mako to carve in the ocean. Speedball decent in the ocean waves to.
