First round completed in Mexico.
It seemed like a well organised event and had some top competitors to make it a true representation in the men's event.
With a new series, its probably going to take a while to get to the point where they have full entries of slalom racers on slalom gear. The race boards seem to be so competitive in light winds that slalom gear may not be essential if the conditions are light enough and flat enough.
Its a bit surprising that the ladies fleet seemed to all be on twintips, but I'm sure they still had some fun racing.
