galinhos

Postby 356 » Thu May 16, 2013 2:55 pm

Hi guys,
my (kiting) girlfriend and me want to go to galinhos (rio grande do norte) in November. We are looking for a nice accommodation – any tips? And we are wondering if there are any bars or restaurants and a supermarket. Oh maybe an ATM?
Last year we have been to cumbucco and of course we knew galinhos is totally different. I guess it´s “quiet an peaceful” 8)
Aloha

Can highly recomnend Pousada Brezil Aventure:

http://www.bresil-aventure.com/aventure ... nture.html

Could not be closer to the ocean, waves right outside your veranda.
Stayed there in 2004 and 2009 - is VERY quiet and peacful with nothing to do except relax, eat, drink and kite a little - as a kiting location is OK but definitely not the best NE Brazil has to offer.
We only ate at the pousada but I do not recall seeing anyplace else to eat.
Pic shows jetty where you arrive by boat, plus local 'buro taxi' which is the only way to get around with any luggage.
Don't think there is an ATM...

Would not recomend Galinhos for any more than 2 nights unless you want a REALY quiet time and do NOTHING
