Keep it up!!

Here in Europe, we have no faith in a Dominican republic Firm, that answers to no one, so all the countries are nationally organising themselves under ISAF.

In 10 years there will not be a IKO IMHO..

"So all the countries are nationally organising themselves under ISAF"

divide and conquer lol, I don't have a good word to say about ISAF after their reports about kiteboarding for olympic inclusion. - about as politically twisted as you can get.

i believe a system where regions are governed by a voluntary organisation is the best. IKO have shown us that a global system does not work (although it may have just been that it was run by incompetent morons who cant even put together a simple lawsuit. you promised to sue me if i kept posting fred, well i am waiting? you are reading my posts right?) only problem is how to train instructors who work internationally. for my club i train my instructors inhouse. maybe a system where schools train their own instructors is best.

Hey Mike,

What would be so wrong (aside from hurting your ego) with dropping this bitterness and resentment, acknowledging you made a stupid choice believing that IKO affiliation would be a good investment, and just believing in yourself a little bit? Run your school, train your instructors, provide a great service and earn a good (or bad) reputation. If you do a great job and treat people right I think you will be successful and happy.

Your biggest mistake might not have been in choosing IKO; it might have been feeling like you couldn't do it on your own. An even bigger mistake might be allowing this negativity to consume you. I hope you have some confidence that you can do it right on your own and let go of the negativity as well as the need to govern or be governed. Throw your pride away and put your energy where it will help you and hopefully many others. Don't let your ego stand in the way of your dreams. Do your thing, do it right and don't worry about all these groups wanting to govern you (while taking your money).

sweet words champ, but i dont like being scammed. it is low season now and i am happy to put my effort into trying to get my money back. i put alot into my school and business improves every year. low season is quite and i can use my time to try to right this.
i do believe in myself thats why i am stand up to IKO for ripping me off in the first place.

Not a problem. We just see things very differently. Best of luck with your money and your revenge.

all fred had to do was say sorry and reinstate my courses. i flew an examiner out from australia to audit my school. great guy called ed. just one of the great guys i have met who refuse to have anything more to do with iko. then iko refused to allow him to do it for reasons unknown, i should be asking for a refund on his flights as well. after all this i realised iko is a scam, they dont care about anything. if i have to keep kicking iko in the balls i will continue to do so untill i am reimbursed. i just want my money back.

some interesting things i have found out about iko,
fred gave iko to his wife in a divorce settlement and he kept their house. somehow fred regained control when he saw how she was running it into the ground. then he turned around and tried to sell it. (does anyone know the sale price?) probably not much as there are about 40 schools left. be interesting what fred has to say about all this. in my dozens of posts and emails he has never defended himself or iko. only the guilty stay silent right fred?
