Wakestyle - hands down is the turbine.
Raceboard - kind of a tie between core, cloud and dyno.
Big air - Dyno 18
Light wind on a Spleene Door - cloud is still riding, relaunching, and flying when the others barely staying in sky.

My boards are Spleene RS 135, 2013 Sector 66, Airush Cypher 5'10", Spleene Door 159, skim.

What are your thoughts specifically in regards to the cloud coupled with a race board?

I recently got a Fat Lady V2, and I only have 1 tt board a Tona POP 138 with boots, and I can go out and hold my ground, even jump if I get enough speed in 12kts, haven't tried with my Surf board yet, but I expect to get at least another kt out of it with it, maybe, the FL is definitely work looking into. I fly it with a Wainman L Carrot Bar, which is 3cm shorter than the blade bar, all it means is that you have to get reaaaaally aggressive with the handling of the bar, to get it to move as intended I guess.

Last few sesh I've been flying it with the new blade bar (a demo) and its sweet, so looking for a new bar for it, probably gona go with the mutiny bar, I love the simplicity and the Geko grip rocks!

Highly recommend this kite, is really quick, I've only flown a couple of bigger kites (Switch blades) and is definitely quicker than a 2011 16m SB I used to have, and feels a hair or maybe I'm imagining stuff, but feels just a bit quicker than a 2011 14m Switchblade.

It rides beautiful in our Florida conditions, choppy ocean, strong current at times, but I've ridden it in flat water, and its an overall sick kite in any condition, I'm really happy with this addition to my quiver. I guess for me it's a 14-18kts kite, I took it out in 20kts, completely depowered in a flat water sesh on the west coast of FL (Marco Island), it wasn't supposed to be that windy, and had to ride back and get my 12m, I wasn't ridding, more like hanging for my life, lol.

Its a kite worth looking into. I couldn't demo one, so I took the plunge based on a recommendation of a buddy in San Diego (Light wind city) and decided to just get one. But it is a really fun kite to fly.

My quiver now is: mr green, smoke, boss, fat lady

The wife is a very good cook and insists on quality food supplies.
And I'm very lucky with basic health functions, so I get away with all the sugar and caffeine I want!
Don't be afraid to talk Supa, I promise I won't bite you.

been out 2 times in Core XR2 LW 17 with 23 m lines. so not conslusive and i am justifying my purchase....
80 kg on strapless Slingshot Celeritas 5-8 surfboard. been kiting 11 years. first session was really light wind, chop and flat water. lighter guys on 14s and TTs not holding ground. I could just hold my position but not get upwind. it was maximum 10 knots. wind was falling and I put on 27m lines. I didn't think it added much. wind had dropped to 7-8 knots and it was not fun anymore. could not hold upwind.

turning speed on 23 m lines met my expectations and is nearly as fast as my Switch Nitro v1 14. main difference in speed being it takes 1-2 sec to get it turning and then it accelerates in turn. if I dive kite and am more aggressive it turns like 14. recovers from dive easy as 14. bar pressure is really nice, not a lot- actually same as my Switch Element 13. riding factory middle bar pressure setting.

today I was out on Element 13 in small waist high wind waves and chop. pretty good power but some wind lulls with too low power. wind dropped a bit. couldnt hold upwind. pumped up XR2 LW 17. used 23 m lines and one knot up on rear lines. now it was like 9-14 knots. perfect power. no way I was holding position with E13, but now having power to spare going upwind. . depowering a bit in 14knots. tested depowering on trim strap and full power ( on first rear knot, and old ESP bar with stretched front lines, so have a relatively short rear lines) impressed that kite flys, turns and is rock solid despite 20-25 cm difference in trim. by diving kite a little before turn I can whip kite around fast and do good powered gibes. tried to get kite to lose steering by depowering everything and sheeting out, and kite still turns easy. impressive.

it's pretty light wind and on small waist high wave I can ride wave and follow wind, but it's so light kite just loses all power and drifts back in window, so I have to turn back upwind or kite will probably fall backwards into water.

I'm not sure yet, but my feeling is that this kite is rather medium aspect, making it super stable in air, with moderate/ normal LE diameter and profile, so it seems it's not an upwind or racing rocket, more an allround kite.

Sensor bar is real improvement over already outstanding ESP bar I have used 3 years. smaller diameter, lighter, dual center trim lines " in line" mean easier to hold line between fingers and less turning forces. shorter CL package, no micro loop. 1 bar for all

for all you kite companies: the kites are working great. thanks for all the hard work in development. my impression is there is not much differentiation in the kites mentioned in this thread. it comes down to subjective preferences. but the " control bar" is what is differentiating. that's what I first bought from Core. only the bar. used it 3 years. then I bought a kite after I knew I was happy with the bar.

be interesting to find high end range on the Core and the kite behavior.

my quiver is now: Core XR2 LW17, Switch Element 13, RRD Obsession 9 Mk2, Switch Method 7. Slingshot Celeritas 5-8

I'm going to have to get out with the helmet cam and the Flite. Was out last night on that kite, but was just holding ground with a single jump or stunt each tack. Still remarkably fast for such a big kite!

Switched to the S3 21 and I was holding ground, with 3 or 4 jumps per tack. Same board... weather station said 6 knots but it's about 20km away so take that with a grain of salt! Felt like 10 to 15 to me...

Well said :thumb:
All measuring devices should be taken with a grain of salt in light winds :coolshades:
Nothing beats an experienced human to determine how much wind speed is in their kite

When it feels like 6kn in the kite.... can't ride at all on Quad 5'7"x 18.62"x 2.1" with a Core19m2
When it feels like 7kn in the kite.... can ride on beam reach but have to work at it and sine kite
When it feels like 8kn in the kite.... can ride a bit upwind with kite parked
When it feels like 9kn in the kite... can start jumping looping transition tricks and not lose any ground

Devices can say 6kn and it is 6kn in kite....or feel like 4kn in kite....or feel like10kn in kite
Those 3 possibilities always exists...so what it feels in the kite is the wind speed you should report

So grain of salt it is
