Putting Ronix Franks on 2012 North Gambler

Postby Kads » Fri May 17, 2013 10:58 pm

I picked up a 2012 North Gambler and want to put my Ronix Franks on it. Problem is that the tool-less bolts that come with the Ronix Franks don't screw into the holes in the track system of the Gambler. The bolts are too big for the holes. I've seen these boots on this board plenty of times, so I need to know how to get 'em on. Do I need different bolts? Which ones? The tool-less bolts for the Ronix Franks have a washer-type-thing with teeth that grab the boots and let you set your angle. How do I duplicate that? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

The box boots should bring 2 set of bolts. The M6 is the bolt that fits.

I had the exact same problem with my Ronix Kai's on my tona, so after some hardware store visits I learned that the place to go, is Ace Hardware if you're in the US, they always carry M6 any length needed. Where as Home Depot depends on a specific provider to come around and check on stock, so you could get lucky with your local HD, but if you don't want to waste any time, just hit your local Ace. Not tool-less though, but does the job.

For tool-less:

Thanks, I picked up a set of the Ronix M6s. They are a few mm long, so I just put a thicker locking washer on to shorten them. All set now.
