Has anyone kited Tetiaroa? Is it the worlds most amazing kite spot?

Looks like it could be the perfect slick for any direction of wind:

Has anyone been there?!?! I thought Bora Bora was my dream destination until I saw this...

Wow, what a beauty!

How about wind, same like Tahiti? Easterly trade winds? When?

i''ll have to ask a kiter friend that sailed from nz a couple of weeks ago to that area. The deal in the south pacific is pretty much cyclone (southern hemisphere word for hurricane) season which is November 1 - April 30 - you take you chances that time of year - no one sails around the south pacific during that time, and that is the only way to get to the more remote spots. I love the south pacific, have kited 6 islands now , hundreds to go.. I think the worlds most perfect island kiting spots would be many south pacific islands vs San Blas Islands (Panama) vs Cocos Keeling (Indian ocean) vs Mauritius (Indian ocean) .. there are many more awesome places too.

There are for sure places better than Bora Bora for kiting, which itself is amazing.
