Historically, June has been an off month for wind but in the last few years not necessarily so. This year, who knows but unusual weather is still on in parts of the USA. There is more information about launch areas at:
http://www.fksa.org/forumdisplay.php?f=128 You may be able to arrange for board rental at Matheson or Crandon Parks. Kite rental is less common here.

If you can fit in a couple of kites you might get some useable wind at points. I would try to rent a board perhaps even a pump to cut down on luggage room. Rental of kites is still a rare thing in SE Florida at this time. You might get in touch with
http://adventuresportsmiami.com for some ideas in the Miami area. Some sea taxi operations may rent gear and of course kite schools provide it. Have a good trip!
