The flat rocker mutant or crossover also with3 straps is my idea for TT replacement. Try to understand what you are reading first.

yep there are surfboard riding zeelots dudes that are so closed minded to different styles they cannot see past there own nose. I'm rocking my own build which is a mutant with standard TT bindings. I go forwards and backwards on it and ride big waves with it. For my style and desire its the shiz. Not so for other riders.

blaze your own path and enjoy it.

Good day,
Sorry but you are mistaken. The Capri GT was supplied with DIRECTIONAL straps and pads and a small sheet of non slip^that could be applied to the deck to aid gybing.
If you are looking at a board with TT straps and pads on then these are not original.
Regards

There is also a rotatable front strap which could be used and is more relevant with a narrower board.

I am sorry but I can't jibe this but I see enough room for 3 windsurfing straps like the old good days. :D

And here is the biggest misunderstanding in this 2 strap "trend" that's been going on for a while. Ladies and gentleman I give you 2009 Airush Monarooooooo:

And here a birds-eye view of a brave soul killing his knee and ankle trying to ride it. It's from the what they were thinking category.

Shinn Capri GT is the most interesting design I've seen lately but I would only use it if it had one piece pad all around and between straps and a 3 strap configuration possible. Other than that it is a very interesting concept. I would go even further and make smaller sizes so I could get away from TT's all together.

What's wrong with the Trow Quad ? I thought it seemed to fit what you wanted very well?
