Good topic - been interested in those new big fuses(same size as you puetz).

14m fuse is biggest size kite I own now - feels like that is magic max crossover size where kites have lighter wind power and still can be whipped around. Debating since I can ride the 14m fuse w a light wind board in low teens n if going to the 16/18m would really be worth it.

Have owned old kites every big size up to old elbow destroying naish v4 25m. Last year bought an ozone zephyr n sold it within a week as I hated it- no grunt for a couple of power strokes until got some apparent wind and was easy to buckle the leading edge even on just a fast transition. Slingshot turbine too previous model didn't like it either w downwind truck pull n mushy bar. I have zero interest in a race style of big kite.

Hey clyde, just out of interest what exactly don't you like in race kites?

but you don't normally jump in a race do you?
I did when I was doing the first PKRA Course Race Tour in 2007 ;-)
Got bored going around buyos and passing thousands of spectators and me not jumping?
No way! I jumped, and always scored the most in the style sheets ;-) Too bad there was no Dyno 2011 in 2007...

Robbie: no, didn't try more! Waiting for the worlcup in Germany (July 12-21) with world biggest demo event! I want to try several big kites.
The new Dynos for sure are more race orientated. But want to test a stock Fuse 18 and see how they work, perfectly trimmed from the North guys.

Here a list of brands that will be there: http://kitelife.de/2013/06/06/herstelle ... world-cup/

Unfortunately no Ozone, but maybe someone has it for me to test.

Have you tried the 16 Fuse yet? How do race kites perform in air? :o

back then we had no race kites, just bows. Me on Vegas 2006...

Luckily the first Dyno, which was made for racing, is a great jumper!

Didn't try the 16 yet, but hopefully in 2 weeks. Interested if it really performs that well according to Billie.

I'm really sorry to say this, but we are going totally off topic here :o Its about Fuse vs Dyno!!!

... and by the answers we are getting, it's pretty obvious that are not very popular choices of big kites...
