Kite Extreme Vieste Cup - 1, 2, 3, 4 all Ozone
In its second edition of the “Extreme Vieste Cup” the South Italy Puglia location gave us spectacular conditions for the Italian Race Cup 2013.
Saturday a northwest wind 20 to 25 knots with a meter wave. Six races with 9 and 10 sqm kites for a classic track with the gate. Sunday brought south wind, perfect for 13m well powered and super flat water in a sea of wonderful colors. This gave us three more great regattas of pure racing action with the backdrop of the city of Vieste. Short track on the Edge of 20 knots AVG.
Giovannelli and Beverino have fought for all 9 races separated by only 50 meters with constant overtaking. Exciting! Finishing first and second respectively by just two tenths of a point to divide them!
To complete the podium an excellent third place for Santostefano, who is also a Temavento/Ozone athlete. In fourth, Alessandro Di Benedetto, who takes his Ozone kites at the foot of the podium to complete the “EDGE” quartet.
