I'm thinking of getting new Element
I've flown my element v1 on the 2013 cab bar but it really doesnt feel right, the higher Y split on the cab bar makes it feel off but on the regular switch bar feels perfect. I cant comment on the v2 elements with that bar though. I wouldnt hesitate getting the new elements holy shit they look good! Perfect refinements from the v1.

Thanks Twitch!
Higher 'Y' split is not optimal but less of a problem on the Element2 due to direct fixed bridle and revised structure. Turning is quick, but not quite as quick as a low 'Y' split.

How well does the Element sit on a wing tip when tether launched?

Does the direct fixed bridle require a single front line safety release system on the bar?
When is the new bar due for release, and will it be single line release?

it is sure is fun, but not with the switch kites.
did you ever wonder why one kite can meet all your requirements and the other in the same conditions can not? that is mostly because of the different kites wing profile.
and my golden setup is definitely not the switch kite. they should advertize their product as the kites for petite riders and flat waters.
so i'm fine now, good luck to you with switch

Just curious eree, which Switch kite are you referring to? I'm flying Nitro 2's and thus far, I'm quite pleased with them. I'm impressed with the build quality, flying characteristics and versatility. So out of morbid curiosity what model or characteristics didn't you like?
Not to start a shameless plug, but I have to give them credit for listening to their customer base on design input and feedback. Bill and Felix are always accessible to answer questions or work with you. I think it's pretty cool to be involved.
Anyway......no ill will. To each their own.

thanks for the info
I will wait for the new bar from Switch, to see if I like it as much as new Cab bar.
will safety release on Cab bar be compatible with Element 2 and Nitro 2 16m ?

Life can be soooooooo good, if you see the positive side of things, instead of concentrating on the negative parts.

Tether launch is no problem. The wide wing tip and 'C' shape helps to kept the kite stable even in gusty conditions.

No, the fixed bridle does not require a single line release.
We are waiting for new components to be manufactured and tested. The new bar will feature three release options: double front line , single front line or 5th line option.
