Hi All!

I'll be travelling tomorrow to Orlando and I'm expecting to spend next weekend in Cocoa Beach to see if I can catch a session.

Does anyone recommend an place to stay for a couple of days close to a kitesurfing spot? Nothing fancy but confortable (I'm on my 30s)

Any spot in coca beach is specially recommended for kitesurfing or is there any restriction?

Any shop where I can rent all the gear?I'm not taking anything with me.

Thanks!
Isidro.

I don't have much advice on a place to stay, most people go to IHOP and get one of those hotel coupon books and usually score a decent deal. Pretty much you have the 528 slick which is a boat launch that opens into a really nice slick. This is where pretty much everyone flat water kites and if there is wind, there is guaranteed to be people out there. If you want Ocean kiting check Cherie Down, parking is free and its in cape Canaveral, about 2 miles or so south of the pier. Hope you have a big kite as we are in our worst season.

Call Romann at 321Kiteboarding
321-302-5663
Wind 5pm today 11 mph onshore East......could me more or less
Wind 5pm Sunday 15 mph side-on SE....could be more or less

Definitely big kite weather for this hot gutless wind..19m2 or 17m2
Summer if definitely here
Sometime forecast is wrong and a 12m2 is the perfect kite...you just never know

You can kite pretty much anywhere on the beach, just make sure to be a few miles away from the air force base. Billy at goodbreezekiteboarding.com usually gets some kickers and sliders out in the slick if it's good.
