160lbs and various size twin tips.

Can't decide based on the wind chart:

Is one size "a better kite" than the other two sizes? Like how usually a 9 meter kite is sometimes the best kite in a range on a model.

9, 10, 11 are definitely the sweet spot for Rebels.

Huh?

5M Rebel 2012 or later is an outrageously awesome kite for 25-40 knots (even below 25 on a surfboard...)

All Rebels are really refined, the North wind chart is pretty much spot on - yes the values are so close together because there is not a huge benefit in getting bigger sizes.

If in doubt get the smaller size because they are super-powerful for their size... enjoy!

But he isn't asking about the 5m. So who cares!

What kind of wind are you riding in? I don't see that but could be missing something.

PS - For what it is worth. I have a 2011 Rebel 10m that was used for a demo at the shop I work with. Used maybe 10-12 times. Looks nearly new. It is for sale for only $650.00. I am 175 lbs. on a 135 board and been riding 14 yrs.. I really like it for hooked in riding. Airs are big and floaty with that rip you off the water feel. I don't care much for the 5th line but as long as the wind isn't light it relaunches like an SLE. Pull on a back line and up she goes. I can start to have fun with it in 16-18 knots and the sweet spot for me is @ 20-23 knots. Nice bar and release. It doesn't unhook well so not right for me. At your weight, you can probably get another 2 knots lower.

Maybe someone has something better on something newer but, it looks like if you ride in the mornings most, the 10m would be better but maybe the 9m in most afternoons with the higher winds. The bottom graph in you pic shows the wind meter at over 30 but the big graph above gusting to 28. So I am not using the bottom graph so much.

It looks gusty so if that is your only kite, I might lean toward the 9m. Good luck! Try if you can.
