I broke my Right leg while kite boarding, a week ago Thursday ; gotta
tell Ya though, the world was Awesome until i heard the compost snap
about 3 hours in and on the 3rd or 4th session !!!!

There was 5 of us out that day ; one guy (wasn't) a local, and he was in his mid --70's.
He was having the Most FUN i had ever seen a human having ; made me think that if i
take care of my body and eat well, (maybe cut back on the beer a bit) then i might have
a bunch more years to go before hitting the grave for that final LO00oong nap ... !!!

good effort boosting on a 5 a worthy trask.

My stoke for the day.

stoked my wrist isn't broken! yeha no cast for this whiteman.
stoked I kite land and water.
turn up at the beach to see 13 knots onshore and choppy mush with no swell. But hard flat smooth beach.... yeha. 15m and landboard. 30mph speed runs and sweet sweet low level glides. Oh yeah. its good to have multiple wind powered options.

Lost my board on Wednesday night. :(

The rip tide out of the river mouth is very fast - we are all aware of the risk but it fantastic flat water and as it wind against tide it easily gives you another 4 knots.

Anyway I got cocky tried something too far out and in the rip got it wrong and lost my board. Today the Coast Guard (whom I informed I'd lost my board so's not to cause a search if found) gave me a call. A very nice gentleman had handed my board into the local Police station :thumb:

It's hot and sunny I've got my board back the wind has arrived and its the weekend. now that's what I call stoke

Prestoke....30 knots and a 5m swell running. Let you know if the stoke comes into fruition. Wild winter weather!
