Those bags only help for a short time, the heat soaks through the foam in an hour or so.
Eventually the air cools, but then the bag is still keeping the board warm.
Mainly good for keeping wax on and avoiding dings imo.

Yeah, I used to leave my kites in the trunk of my white car, and they ended up blowing up all over the place. Had 5 bladder blowouts across 2 kites before I had to just get rid of them.
A black box would be even worse...

You can get silver tops on boxes from Thule. They are supposed to make a difference.
I have had a black top one for years though and have never had any problems. Once, I left my gear in there for a week while in Florida as I went a cruise.
Oh, and the obvious solution to any heat/bladder problems is to fly foils.
