I'm not sure yet about adding more bridles to kites. I'm more attracted to the move towards simplicity (ex: The Cloud), but if it really rocks, we'll all be saving our lunch money to get one. I am very impressed with the sliding pin, self launching system. Great idea! Looks simple and effective. Very cool :thumb: .Anybody tried it yet?

Yep always the simpler the better, but simplicity doesn't equal superior performance. The latter is and will always be my criteria

I love my foil because I don't need to pump or deal with bladder/valve issues. As long as I keep up with the rigging it works every time.

I love my two inflatos, they handle great, self launch and land are a snap and the rigging is so simple.

But to make a kite with the headache of leaky valves and bladders and combine it with the headache of complex bridles and mixer adjustments...........well it makes no sense to me :-?

I like the self launch thing,

I can add that to my kite; it would be pretty useful

regards,

So, if its supa's thread the smiley's should be mandatory!

:D

Would this kite have the same of range a foil does? is that the idea? I like the kite, but the wing. That diagonal/sharp wing tip improves its....??? Makes it look un-aerodynamic (not really a scientific criticism) but usually these things are visually obvious, no?

I'd try one,
