Are you talking about boosting over the reeds?
Yes. If the conditions were right.
Its fun to jump stuff. It adds an extra element of skill to the mix. You can't just boost at any old time. You must time the jump exactly. During the jump sometimes you need fly the kite in a particular way to land where you want.
I was doing something similar the other day except opposite to this. I was on the landboard jumping over puddles and boulders on the beach.

I like the last one, jumping and landing in the small puddle two thirds, and then taking off again for the other side - cool
