Cabrinha X Caliber questions

Demoed a friend's 2013 136cm X Caliber in Hood River Gorge chop on a 12m day. Of course the pop, edging and smoothness in the chop was impressive. I was also surprised that it surfed and carved pretty well. I was not expecting this. How does this board do in bigger swell or small waves?

I am also curious if someone can provide a decent review of the X Caliber, particularly how it compares to the 2012 Caliber.
I tried a friend's 2012 Caliber yesterday and was blown away by it's performance.
Is the X Caliber an improvement from the 2012 Caliber? How is it better or worse?
