You are one crazy man Dimitri.... where do you ever find the time to do all that you do? It just goes to show that most people just waste so much time doing the things that don't matter when they could be following their passions. Definitely entertaining.

Maybe you are familiar with Doctor Who and his TARDIS a time machine that can travel anywhere. Or maybe he has one of those Harry Potter timenecklaces. Because otherwise i cant see where he gets the time.

Sorry guys to disappoint you, but its called VIAGRA. You should try it some time. It gives you wings....

Any way, on another subject, we had a great EPIC demo day today at "SKYWAY bridge" near TAMPA Florida. It was blowing 11 to 16 mph to start so they were using the SCREAMER 14 and RENEGADE 13 with the DROID and OXYGEN Twin Tip board and then the wind dropped down to 7 to 11 mph. So we put the INFINITY V3 kite to the test. You should of seen the expression on their faces after demoing all these kites. They were all very impressed with the performance of the kites and the boards. The only problem was that I had to go but no one wanted to come out of the water. The wind did pick up a little more to 15 mph but it was up and down. So I left my demos with one of the kiters and went back to work. I actually had 2 kiters that wanted to buy my demos on the spot.

P.S. Sorry these demos are not for sale :argue:

Just got this message from one of the riders who was at "SKYWAY" bridge today demoing the kites with every body else. You can read this on my FACEBOOK page if you want more info.

We put the huge guys on the Infinity V3, the 14 Screamer accommodated medium kiters and the Renegade 13 rounded out the rest of the group. The sun was setting and I too finally had to leave. Had to flag the guys down to get them to come in. Matt was going nuts on the Infinity V3 with huge boosts ; the last to reluctantly give up the kite.......it was a good day!!!!
Like I said before, the kites talk for themselves. :thumb:

Hey, I know that place, and those people! Woody's gonna be famous!

Can't believe you went to Tampa and didn't let me know in advance, D! Looks like it was a day for my Screamer 14.

Now that the surf kite is that much closer to being in full production how about some news on the judge kite? Any time frame on when we will be seeing some updates on its progress? What is the projected possible release date (I do realize that you won't release a product until you are happy with the results but a ball park estimate won't hurt anybody :thumb: ). I would love to see anything of this possible bridal on the Judge as well as maybe if you will be releasing the 9m that the proto judge is in? I am sure that I am not the only one that is anticipating its release and what is in store at the Epic R&D labs! The production screamers/renegades are such nice looking kites I can't wait to see what the 4G Judge kite will look like!!

Hello James,
I am waiting for the factory to send me the last prototype SURF 5/8/12 meter kite so I can make sure they are ready for production with some of the changes we did. So I should have the final prototype 5/8/12 in my hands in few weeks and then we are going into production with the SURF model.
Now concerning the JUDGE models. We are still working on it and it will take some time. But if you want you can always buy some of the 5G prototype JUDGE we are working on.

Dimitri, we are back! Thanks so much for lending us the infinity v3 4g for our vacation in Provo, we used it plenty during the first few days. It certainly expanded the hours on the water we had on those days.
I'm not sure about 2-4 knots (with my skill level at least) but certainly flys well in 5-6 knots and with a sup in that wind provided it was constant I could see being able to ride. Once you hit 7 knots its go time, but I honestly switched to my R13 4g at 12knots as the infinity was a handful past 11 knots IMHO.

So... What is the difference between the R13 4g and the S14 4g? Which one of these kites has the most low end for a 180lb rider?

Sincerely
Pete

Hello Pete,
So you guys had a great time in Provo. Yes using the INFINITY V3 in (3 to 5 knots) on an SUP board requires a lot of skills. But at least you saw the performance of the INFINITY v3 in (7 to 11 knots). Yes (12 knots) for 180 lbs might be a little too much but you can always use a smaller board if you don't have a RENEGADE 13 or a SCREAMER 14 to kite in (12 to 18 knots).
Now concerning the difference between the R13 (4G) and the S14 (4G)….Well both of these kites are different from each other. Both of these kites are great but if you are looking for big Hang Time, the S14 will blow the R13 out of the water. But the R13 turns on its axis compare to the S14 and its just a little faster then the S14 plus the bar pressure is different then the S14 (Just to give you an idea some people think that the S14 turns as fast as their 12 meter kite when they demo it). Any way the power is almost the same between the R13 & S14, but I think the S14 might have just a little more power because of its size. Now if you are a kiter that is looking for a kite that will do everything well then the R13 (4G) is your kite. I love the R13 in the waves compare to the S14. But I love the S14 when I want to go big and do all my aerial tricks.
Any way I hope this helps. If any one else can add to this that will be great.

The R 13 will have more low end grunt than the S14, so initial power output will possibly be the same. I only notice it really during that initial kite dive. The R13 sits deeper in the window so the power is a little straightforward, where the S14 eases into the power a little more. Upwind will be slightly better in the S14 given the more forward position… but only slightly really. I found the pressure on the Renegades to be a little stronger than the Screamers. Even in comparing the S10 or 12 to the R11 or 13, there is a little more pressure. Certainly not enough to tire out your arms over a few hours, but it is there.

For me at 145 lbs, the Infinity is an armful in 8 knots! So I'm on the R13 from 8-9 all the way up to 12-15. My go to quiver is R7, S10, R13.

Just my observations, but it's a feel that you need to find for yourself. Personally, if you have the R13, I'm not sure you'd get more out of owning a S 14 as well. Although, bigger jumps in light winds might be the selling point...
