the usual family man dilemma of wanting to kite and keeping the missus and kids happy with a bit of luxury. The last time I was kiting was in Greece was at Mikri Vigla, me and a mate pitched our tent in the half built hotel by the camp site. But that seems beyond the missus and kids at the moment. Any recommendations would be most welcome.

Hello Bri

What time of the year are you interested in and for how many days?

Paros and Naxos are a good choice around July and August, so is Rhodes all year around. Although the kite spot in Rhodes, Prasonisi, does not offer good accommodations.

If you are looking in spending a few days in Athens, you could always go sightseeing with your family in the morning , and then join us after 3pm for kiteboarding at some close kite spots in Athens, like Oropos or Loutsa. Because kiting with friends, is always much better…

I was just in Sardinia and did a topic about it: http://www.kiteforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2386020
