I am looking for a 12m RRD Obsession.... Currently riding a 10.5m 2012 and find this the perfect kite.... Is the 2013 obsession as good as the 2012 ? is it as fast turning and does it have the outstanding boost that the 2012 does. I love the jumping on the 2012 obsession....

Struggling to track down a 2012 and have been offered a few 2013...

Yeh looking into this kite hey. The 2014 come in mid August. What can you tell me about this kite, not much on the net hey? Looking for something with aspect but not as flat as the edge. Like my all time favourite the 2013 zephyr, but they are not gonna make it in smaller sizes so I'm looking around. Seems to have a very similar canopy shape hey.

What I did pick up from the 2013 in my readings is a much more direct which probably means higher bar pressure. Does it need to be more direct?

i mean they probably do best selling granny's underpants, but the kite gear?! no thanks...
just look at their gear. is that what you want your friends to see riding with?....

Wow haven't read such blatant slamming of a brand for a while now. Do you wish to explain yourself, maybe even work towards providing some dialogue beyond a 6 yr old?

If you never have flown an Obsession you wouldn't understand. Only a kook in my opinion cares about graphics alot, performance first. I rode them for years and still love the way they fly, ride a 7mtr in 30 knots and tell me its not as fun as it gets, Eree=Barn. I have no affiliation and fly North now and pay for my stuff. Still have a 2012 7mtr for those high wind days, just love my Vegas now!

So how do they fly for fucks sake! Sorry I have been trying to find out. Do they have a bit of aspect in them? What's the power delivery like? Do they have some drift, enough for some pretend wave riding on a TT? What's the bar pressure like? Does the power come on smooth or with a punch like a C kite? What's the inflate system like, small pissy valve like a lot of brands still persist with (god know why)?

Has anyone expierence with obsessions through years?
Is 2013 obsession any better than 2012 or 2011?
2013 has higher bar pressure and is more direct? Has it better lift/hangtime/upwind?
2013 colors are not my favourite, but if kite is better in flying characterics......
