I don't have one for sale, but wanted to clarify: What's wrong with the 2010 bar? I have one and it's the same bar with the butter-box they've been selling up until the introduction of the new bar for 2014. It's the 2009 which has the weird red side pull release.

I just saw some on the ikitesurf classifieds. Now that the 2014 Comps Stick bar is open, the current bars are going on sale. You should be able to find one for a good price.

What is it you don't like about the 2009 ?

The bar itself is stronger with its alloy center hole, whereas the 2010 has a cheap plastic center hole which eventually wears out and eats your depower rope in a few sessions.

Depower rope: simple & efficient in 2009 you can buy rope everywhere for a few usd and make it yourself, no need for complex splicing and stupid two diameter rope as in 2010 onwards.

Below the bar swivel is a must: 2009 you can untwist the lines manually when the bearing is tired, and you can change the bearing in a few minutes for a few USD. In 2010 the swivel cost 99 USD and is so high above that you can not untwist manually when the bearing gets tired.

Below or above the bar trim: I modified my 2009 for above the bar trim, takes a few minutes, you cannot do that with 2010 onwards.

Anyway, from SS I personnaly only use the lines and the chicken loop (2009), other parts are two heavy, complex, fragile.

rtz - cheers but that is literally just the bar, i want the whole thing - bar/lines/safety system.

romkite -
What is it you don't like about the 2009 ?
-The quick release toggle is a nightmare for unhooked because it's very easy to pull when trying to
hook back in.
-The swivel is s*** compared to the 2010 one, i'm constantly have to untwist the centre lines at the end
of the session.
-No metal ring in the chicken loop to hook the leash to for unhooked riding, currently hook it round the depower rope above the quick release which means my thumbs get torn to pieces by the carabiner when i'm doing unhooked tricks.

ok I know what you mean and why that makes it a no go for you, understood. (I don't do unhook so no problem for me)

As I explained I totally disagree on that point, mine works automatically for +30 sessions with a new ball bearing, and I can push it up to 50 sessions easily in "manual" mode. Maybe you need check the ball bearing and also make sure the stopper knot at the end of the depower rope inside the chicken loop is not rubing around, preventing it from freely twisting.

When I still had below the bar depower, I used to connect the leash between the chicken loop and the depower cleat. I don't see no problem there.

cheers

They have that too; but it's not cheap. I haven't seen it cheap anywhere yet.
