Stoked ya love your new REO kite runner, that's awesome.
Personally I didn't like them at all, not one bit. But hey that's the beauty of all the kite choices we have...suites some, doesn't others.

Hey westozzy just curious what in particular didn't you like about the kites? Is this as a comparison to the 12/13 Reo's or just a commentary on the kites in general.
Thanks mate.

Yes I prefered the 2013. It's not for me to comment I feel on the 2014, as I know crew who prefer and love them. They do take some dialing in but once you do apparently they are great.I will leave them at that and just say the kite I'm on now (in my opinion and thats all it is) smokes it in the waves, by a long way.

Yes I didn't like it either and i'm a die hard ozone fan. They have increase the power and now its too punchy. it tends to back stall and the surge foward giving a power spike. power delivery was to steep and not smooth.
I have a 2012 6m reo and love it. Awesome kite. For me 2014 reo not awesome at all.

Cool thanks guys for your thoughts. I have the 2012 Reo 8/10 which I loved and just bought the 2014 10m (my 10 is getting a bit worn) I haven't ridden the new one properly enough to compare yet. I'm going to pump both 10m's up next session and do a back to back in same conditions.

Just remember to give the new one some time. All riders I know it has taken a few sessions before they understood it, but once they have they really love it.

Just had some issues with my 2014 Ozone REO. I posted on it by a new thread.
Just sharing my experience.
