Try slapping it up on the ikitesurf.com forum. What exactly happened to lose access, anyway? Good luck!

Thank you! Kiteboarding has not been around to long and not that it really started to grow N.Y. along with other states started banning the sport. Their reason is that "it's to dangerous". Near N.Y. city there is maybe a handful of spots to board and not get a hefty fine. We can't even open up a kite and fly static on any open fields let alone use a buggy or ATB. Personally I live about ten minutes from the beach but can't fly there even if there are no people around. The only 2 places I can fly I have to drive about 40 minutes and pay 15 bucks in tolls for one bridge and only then hope the winds are in the right direction and enough for the kite I bring.

You know what else is banned in the parks, roller skating, climbing, spitting, walking off the path, playing soccer and using swimming fins. They sit around dreaming of things that are fun and ban them.
