F One Bandit 2008 - suitable for a girl beginner?

Postby ChuckDean » Tue Aug 13, 2013 1:47 pm

hi!

My girlfriend is about to start learning to kitesurf. Still not sure whether she will be "pulled in" to the sport so we did not invest much when it comes to gear.

I have a Bandit 7.5 m 2008 and i wonder will it be ok for her to learn on it, especially safety wise (velcro release issue)....

thnx!

Hope she has good forearms as this is probably the kite that has the most bar pressure on the market.

Not a bad kite though, really powerful.

hehe...so i've heard :).....it will be just untill she is completely into it, riding upwind etc.

Then we will get newer equipment and less aggressive.

No nead for big forearms. it's a 7.5m. yes the bar is heavy for a 7.5m but the kite pulls strong. i weigh about 77Kg and can go upwind using it and my Xenon LaLuz TT at 17-18K

Kites good, but get someone else to teach her if you want to keep the relationship. Everything that goes wrong will be your fault, regardless
